Like so many start-ups borne of personal experience, Dublin's LikeWhere started life in 2013 as a consumer-facing business targeting the man on the street with a travel app that promised to enhance trips at home and overseas.

Founder Simon Dempsey came up with the idea for LikeWhere on foot of his own experience travelling frequently for work.
