For banking customers across the globe, passwords are out, and voice recognition and biometrics are in
Actress Joanna Lumley has voiced many a role over the years, but most recently her dulcet tones have been captured in a sculpture for a major marketing campaign by banking giant Barclays.
Lumley features in the bank’s campaign for a new voice recognition system for its telephone banking customers. The new technology allows British consumers to log in using their voice and removes the need for security questions or passwords.
