Tyrants, demagogues and would-be despots around the world share many common traits. Car-crash charisma. An infinite capacity for bluster. An inability to tolerate criticism. Multiple wives. Shockingly bad taste in soft furnishings.
In a viewing of Donald Trump’s multiple abodes and the opulent former residences of Saddam Hussein, Idi Amin or Muammar Gaddafi, you’d be hard pressed to identify the owner. Except that Trump’s houses are marginally more gaudy.
