Leinster aim high with new home

With the design chosen, redevelopment of the RDS Arena now comes down to finding a sponsor and taking a gamble on ticket sales, writes Cian Murtagh

Next week, the Royal Dublin Society and Leinster Rugby will reveal the the name of the architect who they have selected to design the redeveloped RDS Arena.

The winner has been chosen from a competition run by the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland, with the involvement of both the RDS and Leinster. The judging panel had to assess 58 entries for the multimillion-euro project to replace the old Anglesea Stand and increase capacity by 7,000.
