Did you know that of 100 of the top venture capital firms, 7 per cent of their partners are women? Did you know that between 2010 and 2015, Crunch Base found that 12 per cent of venture rounds ($31.5 billion) funded start-ups that reported at least one female founder? Did you know that over the same period, 17 per cent of seed rounds went to start-ups with at least one woman founder?

In sum, it’s not easy being a female start-up founder....
