Kingspan fills gap with €25m insulation factory in Australia
The facility in Somerton, north Melbourne, will make insulation materials
The Irish building materials giant Kingspan has unveiled a new €25 million factory in Australia.
The facility, which will make insulation materials, is in Somerton, north Melbourne, where US care manufacturer Ford closed a plant last year.
The plant is set to supply a major portion of Kingspan’s Asian customers, with 20 per cent of its production scheduled for shipping through Asia-Pacific, a figure predicted to rise to 35 per cent by 2020.
