Kerry Group can spend billions on acquisitions

The multinational’s M&A activity is expected to increase, says outgoing chief executive

Kerry Group is in a position to spend several billion euro on acquisitions if it chooses, according to the company’s outgoing chief executive Stan McCarthy.

McCarthy told The Sunday Business Post that while the company had been relatively quiet on the acquisition trail lately, it could open its chequebook should the opportunities arise.
