Johnson & Johnson to invest €100m in Limerick plant

Vistakon, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, will create 200 positions

Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, which operates as Vistakon in Ireland and is one of several Johnson & Johnson companies operating here, has said it plans to invest more than €100 million in the expansion of its manufacturing operations in Limerick. It is expected that the 18-month construction phase will create 200 temporary positions.

“Johnson & Johnson’s contribution to the Irish economy, and the Mid West region in particular, is substantial.”
