A county, perhaps a nation, holds its breath as Presenting Percy bids to win the Gold Cup at Cheltenham this afternoon.

Owned by Philip Reynolds, son of the late Irish leader Albert, Presenting Percy is trained by Pat Kelly, or “The Enigmatic Pat Kelly” as he is usually known, near Craughwell in south County Galway.
