Jim Travers set to make nearly €16m from Fleetmatics sale
Travers has been chief executive and chairman of the company since 2006
The all-cash sale of Fleetmatics, a global powerhouse in fleet management that was founded in the Dublin suburb of Templeogue in 2004, was announced by Verizon’s telematics division last week.
Travers, 65, has been chief executive and chairman of the company since 2006, and holds 0.73 per cent of the Fleetmatics Group. He was due to step down at the end of this year.
