Irish tech firms raise €332m in funding
Lack of seed investments raises concern
Irish technology firms had a busy first quarter this year, raising a total of €332 million in funding. This is an increase of 34 per cent on the same period last year when €246.7 million was raised according to the Irish Venture Capital Association VenturePulse survey.
But despite the headline figures, Irish Venture Capital Association (IVCA) chairman Peter Sandys has warned that a couple of large deals may have disguised a softening in the market.
