In the 35 years since it first opened, the Co Westmeath manufacturer Mergon Group has grown to employ 600 people at its headquarters in Castlepollard and overseas plants in the US and the Czech Republic.

Mergon makes plastic components and assemblies for the automotive, industrial and healthcare sectors in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Its customers include well-known brands like BMW, Toyota Bosch, Abbott and Xerox.
