Irish skincare success story looks abroad for next chapter

The Irish skincare brand Pestle & Mortar is to focus on overseas markets next year, after its turnover hit more than €2 million in 2017.

The Kildare-based firm doubled its revenues this year, according to its founder Sonia Deasy, who said she expected it to double again in 2018. This will be largely due to expansion plans in several markets, including Britain, the US, Spain and Singapore.
