New year, new deals. Ireland’s health food and drinks companies are hitting the ground running this year with expansion plans and big contracts for 2018.

Gary Lavin, founder of Vitz Drinks, has secured a national listing with British retailer WH Smith to stock the company’s VitHit vitamin drinks in 200 of its shops in Britain.

The drinks brand has also landed a deal to supply 160 of the French retail giant Carrefour’s shops...
