There are 6,000 plants on the Wexford farm
Moira Hart opened Ireland’s only dedicated lavender farm two years ago on a two-acre site in Inch in Co Wexford that she inherited from her mother’s family.
“What we do is quite niche in the Irish market, but I have always loved lavender. I grew up in Britain, where there are 12 or more commercial lavender farms, so I was familiar with the idea,” said Hart.
