Ireland still needs to shatter the glass ceiling

International Women’s Day, which is celebrated today, is a day to celebrate the accomplishments made in the struggle of women worldwide for equality and liberation. However, it is also a time to take stock of the battles ahead. And in Ireland, shattering the glass ceiling remains a critical one.
