Ireland could be hub for international Reits

International property investors who marshal hundreds of millions of euro are exploring the possibility of using Ireland as an operations hub, a leading funds expert has said.

Andy O’Callaghan, an asset management partner with PwC, said that the success of publicly-listed Real Estate Investment Trusts (Reits) in Ireland had attracted the interest of investors from further afield.
