Screen Training Ireland is to run a course on adaptating written works for film, such as Brooklyn, above, which was adapted from Colm Tóibín’s novel

Screen Training Ireland will run a five-day course on how to adapt pre-existing material for the screen with tutor Beth Serlin.

The course will take place in Dublin from February 29 until March 4. The course will be most suited to experienced screenwriters and development executives currently developing adaptation projects. Directors will also be considered.
