INM to drop inserts from free papers
The media group has received complaints from retailers on the matter
Independent News and Media has stopped including supplements in the thousands of free newspapers it distributes daily, after fielding complaints from retailers on the matter.
More than 16,000 free copies, known as bulk sales, of the Irish Independent are given out each day, which accounts for almost one in every six copies of the newspaper.
