In the dark of night, Doheny looks to dominate

Outside of his hometown Portlaoise, world champion TJ Doheny is still looking to make an impact in his homeland

The bulk of his fights have been in his second home down under, but the road to becoming a world champion saw stops in Boston, Bangkok, and Tokyo amongst others. It was in the famed Korakuen Hall in Tokyo that he raised the IBF title with a points win over Ryosuke Iwasa.

That got him to Madison Square Garden and a comfortable TKO first defence over Ryohei Takahashi, but now he’s going a step further....
