Des McCann is general manager of Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport. The four-star hotel is one of 18 Clayton hotels in Ireland and Britain. Owned by Dalata Hotel Group, it has 469 rooms and employs 262 people.

Tell us about your career to date.

I have a degree in human resource management and industrial relations from National College of Ireland and I was formerly general manager of both the Clyde Court Hotel and Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin....
