Jane Ní Dhulchaointigh, inventor of mouldable silicone putty Sugru

Sugru is a water and heat-resistant rubber glue which can mould around almost any object. While studying fine art at NCAD and completing her masters in product design, Kilkenny native Jane Ní Dhulchaointigh began experimenting with clay and silicone sealants.

After seeing the enthusiasm for her prototype at a student product design exhibition, she knew she had to pursue her idea.
