Dublin-based start-up Pharmapod makes software to help stop medication misuse. Its software helps pharmacies and hospitals to monitor prescriptions and dosage information, and report mistakes. Founded in 2013, the company recently signed a deal with Britain’s National Pharmacy Association. It currently has 11 staff and plans to grow its customer base from 600 to 1,600 pharmacies this year in its US and Canadian expansion.
