Hostelworld says revenue rose by 5% to €83.45 million last year

The travel website announced a maiden dividend of 2.75 cent per share

Irish travel website Hostelworld has reported earnings of €23.6 million for 2015 in its maiden set of results, as revenue rose by five per cent to €83.45 million.

Hostelworld, an online booking platform focused on hostels, said it increased its marketing investment by €8.5 million to €37.4 million during the year, including a €3.2 million investment in the relaunch of its Hostelworld brand.
