Cricket’s spiritual home is joining the fight against climate change.

Marylebone Cricket Club, home of Lord’s, wants to avert more damage from severe weather which has already cost millions of pounds and wrecked historic grounds.

In response to this sticky wicket, the club has shifted its electricity consumption to 100 per cent renewable energy in a deal inked with EDF Energy.
