A new Reit focusing on healthcare infrastructure is to launch later this year, with its promoters setting an initial target of raising more than €100 million from investors.

The fund will initially comprise primary care centre assets formerly owned by Richard Barrett’s Bartra group, along with a separate set of nursing home acquisitions.

The Reit’s asset manager will be run by a new entity headed by healthcare developer and corporate financier Kevin Beary....
