Revived training scheme attracts 1,100 applicants

Gas Networks Ireland has begun its first training scheme for apprentices in 30 years.

More than 50 opportunities will be created by Gas Networks Ireland in apprenticeship and graduate programmes in the period 2014-2017.

Over 1100 people applied for the apprenticeship programme which is being run in conjunction with Solas.
