Growth crystallises for Dublin jewellery brand Chupi
Ex-Topshop designer made 20,000 piece of jewellery in 2016
Chupi, the jewellery brand set up by ex-Topshop designer Chupi Sweetman, has signed a string of new deals and is expanding internationally.
The Dublin company made 20,000 pieces of jewellery in 2016, up from 9,500 last year and 1,000 in its first year. It aims to make 30,000 pieces next year but it could go to 40,000 due to demand in other markets, Sweetman said. Each piece is made in Ireland.
