Sale of US interests ends decade-long foray that began when Coveney became chief executive
Greencore chief executive Patrick Coveney has said the company will not diversify and won’t be “bounced” into takeovers following its exit from the United States.
Coveney said Greencore will concentrate on the British market, where it makes three out of every five sandwiches consumed, but may expand into other product categories.
