Car sharing firm GoCar is investing €2 million in a new fleet and is eyeing up a foray into other major cities.

The mainly Dublin-based car sharing company is aiming to have 200 cars available between Dublin and Cork. It launched 16 new bases since the beginning of this year.

GoCar has 119 Ford and Hyundai cars, mostly located in Dublin, and is signing up over 150 new members per month, according to managing director Colm Brady.
