Global digital services firm buys into Potato

Global digital services firm AKQA has bought a majority stake in London digital agency Potato, which counts Irish tech entrepreneur Dylan Collins among its shareholders.

Collins, a founder, venture capital investor and SuperAwesome chief executive, is chairman of Potato, which was founded in 2010 by veteran developer Jason Cartwright and long-time business partner Luke Guttridge.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
