Glanbia says revenue down by 2.5% in first quarter

The food group expects to deliver earnings growth of 8%-10% this year

Glanbia said total revenue declined by 2.5 per cent in the first three months of the year but repeated its full-year guidance of earnings growth of eight to 10 per cent.

Shares in the company fell in early trading and were down by 2.2 per cent at €17.17 by 08:45 a.m.

The performance nutrition business reported a 5.6 per cent rise in revenue and the company said the full-year outlook was positive with like-for-like branded revenue growth expected...
