Irish gin producers hope to treble exports

Irish gin producers have been enjoying something of a boom recently, with more than 30 brands now on the market and exports more than trebling last year, according to the Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland.

Now the Irish Sprits Association (ISA) is launching a plan to treble overseas sales across the world again by 2022. 130,000 cases of Irish gin were sold around the world last year, and the ISA strategy aims to increase this to 400,000.
