Dublin chosen for the head office because of Britain’s decision to leave the European Union, reports say
The industrial gas giant Linde is considering moving its headquarters to Ireland as part of its multibillion merger with US rival Praxair.
The company said Ireland, Britain and the Netherlands are in the running for the head office of the merged business, although no decision has been taken so far on a location. The merger between the two companies is not expected to be concluded for several months.
