French fund Infravia acquires Carechoice group in €60m deal

Nursing and retirement home group was purchased by Emerald Capital Partners in 2014

Emerald, a private equity company headed by financier Alan McIntosh, bought the company for €28 million in 2014.

The deal will allow for the significant expansion of the Carechoice footprint, the company said in a statement this afternoon. Four Dublin sites have already been identified for development as part of this strategy, it said.

Infravia specialises in 'sustainable' infrastructure projects, and has made investments across the euro zone in the utilities, transportations, energy and social infrastructure...
