French co-op acquires 50% of Dublin firm
A French co-op that represents 300,000 farmers has acquired a 50 per cent stake in a Dublin company specialising in off-patent crop protection products.
Life Scientific will create 20 jobs over five years as a result of the deal with InVivo, France’s largest agricultural co-op and the biggest buyer of agrochemicals in Europe.
Established in 1995 by chief executive Nicola Mitchell, Life Scientific has 20 existing staff at its NovaUCD headquarters and an annual turnover of more than €10 million.
