Former rugby player steps off the office treadmill to set up TRX fitness venture

His aversion to working behind a desk in a nine-to-five office job prompted retired rugby player Johnny Coleman to strike out on his own, establishing the TRX venture Fitness HQ in 2013.

The Dublin native spent four years in Britain playing professional rugby union and rugby league before injury forced him to change course.

“I was a client manager with an oil and gas company in London. I lasted eight months,” said Coleman.
