Former Nama boss joins vulture fund’s multimillion venture

Former top Nama figure John Mulcahy has joined a major development venture in which his former employer has a significant stake.

Distressed investment fund Oaktree Capital has appointed Mulcahy as a director at Targeted Investment Opportunities, a consortium it leads.

Developer Bennett Group and Nama are investment partners, with Nama holding a 16 per cent stake.
