Food firm PowCow plans move into Britain

Deal with distribution company will see expansion take place within eight months

PowCow, a young Irish food company, has a secured a contract with distribution company DPD Ireland that will expand the business into Britain in the next eight months.

DPD is using PowCow’s low-calorie, high-protein frozen yogurt to trial frozen deliveries for the first time in Ireland, with the new distribution model set to go live next month. The deal could also see the company expand to the French and German markets, said Niall Moloney, founder...
