A fresh €500,000 funding round that closed last week will see Dublin start-up Bamboo expand beyond the Dublin market in the months ahead.

Bamboo co-founders Luke Mackey and Alan Haverty will use the funding from private sources and state agency Enterprise Ireland to establish the company in London and Singapore.

Mackey and Haverty have developed a smartphone app that allows café and restaurant customers to skip queues by ordering ahead.
