Flender to crowdfund British expansion

Having secured £501,000 through crowdfunding, the Dublin-based peer-to-peer lending start-up Flender is already planning a £2 million funding round and £20 million in leveraged debt finance.

Flender, which is backed by Ding founder and Esat Digifone co-founder Mark Roden, will use the funds to launch in Britain and expand its presence in Ireland.
