Minister for Foreign Affairs Charlie Flanagan is planning to honour the Irish roots of Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady won his fourth Super Bowl title last week, when his New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks. He equalled the record set by the legendary quarterback, Joe Montana, prompting debate among American football fans about which of them is the greatest of all time.
