For the last seven years, the financial services industry has dealt with a veritable alphabet soup of new rules and regulations. AIFMD, EMIR, CSDR, UCITS 5, MiFID 2 and CRD 4 to outside observers may seem like a dizzying array of acronyms that you would find in a teenager’s text message.
