Finance predicts €8.5bn corporate tax take
The Department of Finance is forecasting that it will rake in €8.5 billion in corporation tax payments this year.
The Department, which released its estimates of how much tax it will collect across 2018 late on Friday, said the figure would be 4 per cent higher than the haul in 2018. It also said the expected 4 per cent increase was “in line with the projected growth rate of corporate profitability”.
