Looking for a picturesque filming location in Ireland? Forget Skellig Michael, another part of Ireland is looking for its 15 minutes of fame.

Offaly is on a mission to improve its appeal as a location for filming with a new campaign.

FilmOffaly, Offaly’s Film Commission and project of Offaly County Council, was set up in 2008 to attract film production into Offaly and to encourage opportunities for indigenous filmmaking, employment and education within the county.
