Febvre turns corner with €570,000 pre-tax profit

Company had 123 employees in 2014, down from 138 the previous year

Wine wholesaler and distributor Febvre recorded a pre-tax profit of €578,198 in 2014, a decisive improvement on the previous year when it had a loss of €1.7 million, according to accounts just filed.

Febvre supplies hotels, restaurants, pubs, bistros, wine merchants, supermarkets, airlines and duty-free shops. Its turnover remained largely static in 2014, with a slight decrease to €48.9 million in 2014, down from €49.4 million the previous year.
