Entrepreneurialism runs in the family for David Murphy, managing director at Agrispread International, the Co Mayo company established in 2006 by his father Mark.

An agricultural machinery manufacturer, Agrispread makes precision fertiliser and lime spreading equipment for international markets.

Murphy runs Agrispread with his brothers Dermot and Marcus. The company employs more than 40 people at a purpose-built 24,000 square feet factory in Ballyhaunis.
