Exclusive: Secret tax deals worth €67m made last year

The settlements avoid defaulters being named and shamed in exchange for "full disclosure"

The Revenue Commissioners agreed large secret tax settlements worth over €67 million last year – including a €12 million settlement with one company.

Two taxpayers also made individual settlements of over €4 million each last year for non-payment of income tax.
