Ex-Digicel boss to expand airport lounge business

Businessman predicts O’Brien will seek equity partner for Digicel after failed IPO

David Hall, the former chief executive of Digicel Jamaica, is planning to expand his airport lounge business outside its base in Jamaica, where it turned over $10 million last year.

Hall said his company, VIP Attractions, employed 320 people in Jamaica’s two main airports. “We’ve had approaches to open in other airports. I’d like to open in two more in the short term in the Caribbean, and then look at other markets,” he said....
