A reorganisation of the European business interests of Aramark, the US-based food, facilities management and property services company, has resulted in a major promotion for the president of its Irish operations.

Donal O’Brien, who hit the headlines last month when he oversaw the purchase of Avoca for over €60 million, has been appointed president of Aramark Northern Europe, a new entity which will encompass Aramark’s operations in Ireland, Britain and Denmark as well as offshore....
